May, 2011—COB Industries has recently expanded their Pipe-Freezing Training Facilities
to meet the growing demand from domestic and international customers and distributors
for Freeze-Seal Training.
COB Industries’ training facility now boasts piping assemblies from 1” through 12”
on site to be used for training programs with their Qwik-Freezer® (liquid CO2) Freeze
Kits and their patented Accu-Freeze™ (liquid Nitrogen) Freeze Systems. COB Industries
offers full comprehensive training programs with both systems conducted by a staff
with over 46 years of combined pipe freezing experience. Training programs consist
of academic training which covers the history, methods and theory of pipe freezing,
general freeze sealing procedures, planning and limitations, trouble shooting, etc.
and hands-on training performing actual freezes on various sizes of pipe.
In the last several months COB has hosted customers for training from the USA, New
Zealand, Mexico, Malaysia, South Korea, Canada, and the U.K.
